nvidia, cant gdmlogin be the DVI and not the VGA ?
 
Hi

I am setting up xinerama.
And no way, the VGA is always the first display.
Then gdm is always there.

Cant the first display be the DVI one ?

I have a nvidia card with both output dvi and vga.
vga would be if it works my right and secondary screen.

Never used the Xinerama but I had the same problem with my dual head setup until I used the UseDisplayDevice" option here is my Monitor sections. You can find the proper numbers for the DFP-0 and CRT-1 by looking into your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file in the part where the monitors get detected.
