Nvidia 9400GT

Other than the fact that I am running C5.2 not really a linux question.

I am currently running a PIII 1ghz as a media player out in the living room (40 inch lcd). Extremely happy with the results (needs a quieter psu) except that it does not have enough cpu to run 720p x264. The atom 330 is another direction I have been looking(as a replacement for the PIII) and for them they use a 8 or 9 series nvidia with VDPAU to handle the x264 decoding. Since my PIII is agp or PCI (no PCI-e), I was wonder what people thought. Switching from a geforce 2 vga card to DVI/HDMI is also on the agenda.

Thanks
Lazlow
