Nvidia 8400M G performance

I had installed Nvidia drivers on debian from Nvidia website ,everything looks ok , direct rendering is Yes but when i execute glxgears on fullscreen (1280:800) one of my CPU is at 100% second is at 20% .

It is ok ?
i think that glxgears should use graphics card cpu not main cpu.

at fullscreen i have 320 FPS on glxgears and i think something is wrong .
I installed drivers on suse fedora debian and always was the same: 320 FPF ,main cpu at 100% .

Sounds about right for a 8400M to me (I don't have one). My Go 1400 gets about 585 FPS at that resolution (actually I was at 1280x960) with glxgears. The Quadro Go1400 is roughly a Nvidia 6800 card.

In fact, I think 320 FPS is pretty good for your card.

but i do feel that one should investigate ,hajmon7's point seems to be valid, why is CPU being shown at 100%? GPU should be utilized.
hajmon7 , the FPS are decent but CPU thing is suspicious, can u see which application is using that one cpu via top or some other utility?
also is it 8400M GT or 8400M GS? [just for knowledge]
