NVidia 3Dcard makes my system crash
Hi,
I've already posted a question like this on this forum, but I didn't get any replies, so I'll try it again. I've just replaced my old TNT2 (32mb) graphics card, with asus v7700, based on the geforce 2. But after doing this is I am getting serious trouble : every time I boot mandrake 9.2 my computer freezes within 5 minutes! Although mandrake recognized my card, and didn't give an error. So I assume that I'll need a different driver, but I don't know where to get one for Linux (I checked the asus site, and driverguide.com). Can you help me???? :Pengy: |
get the drivers from www.nvidia.com, but b4 that set ure present drivers to something generic and see what happens...
