Not able to play Sound


Hi Guys,

Sound is not enabled in my PC.
i am not able to play any music files, in Linux but
it plays well in Windows

Configuration of my Desktop PC is as follows;
a. Redhat Enterprise Linux 4
b. Kernel version 2.6.9-22.ELsmp
c. Output from lspci | grep -i audio command :
"00:1b.0 Class 0403: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)"

Can you guys suggest me what needs to be done???

Smile Sound done

I have found a solution to my problem
i installed asla driver library and the utilities from there
directory

I am able to get the sound now with some settings
