Nokia 5310 with gentoo linux Q's
 

First of all I hope this is an appropriate forum to post this too.
I hope that someone here had experience with the above device and can answer the following about it
Anyone got this device to work with linux(specifically gentoo)? I mean transfer of files (if possible) and also uploading of mp3's to the phone.
The device comes with windows application and I'm wondering if wine would be an appropriate solution
