No Sound on Intel 915G in Debian etch 4.0(testing)


Good day, I have a old-fashioned Linux problem. No sound.

I tried several things, alsaconf, doesn't want to recognize any sound devices. User is in audio group in /etc/group

I am running Debian Linux etch 4.0(testing).

Also I tried to load modules which consisted a Intel from here:
/lib/modules/2.6.17-2-686/kernel/sound/pci

e.g. modprob snd-intel8x0

So, modprobe snd-hda-intel didn't work?

Sorry, problem already resolved Just enable sound card in BIOS. Sorry for inconvenience, but sometimes it can happen
