No Sound, hardware not installed

I just installed Suse9.3 and I need to set up my audio. Using kernel 2.6.11.4-20a, it says in the Yast audio setup,

"The kernel module snd-intel8x0 for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or ORQ parameters."

What does any of this mean? And how would I be able to resolve the problem?

I also updated alsa via Yast already.

Anyone? Does the post have too few details?

EDIT: Thanks for the help, but yast magically fixed the problem...
