No sound from Left speaker

Ok, weirdness factor "10". I'm not getting any sound from my left speaker. I'm not sure if this just started, or has been like this for a while. I booted into Windows, and it works just fine. I then tried it with RhythmBox, Banshee, and Amarok, and all gave the same problem. lspci doesn't even list my sound card . . .

Anyway, I have an Audio Adapter Realtek ALC883 @ ATI SB450 - High Definition Audio Controller, whatever that means.
