Hi,
I have been trying for a while to get sound to work on my Toshiba Tecra A10 for the installed Fedora 11. Nothing is muted, so I think maybe the problem is that the sound card is not detected properly.
the following web link is information about the alsa player http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=7b...c9121eedac00f4
I would really appreciate any help, I am a new linux user and I am enjoying using linux (except sound isn't working!)
Thanks

Where does that "3stack" come from? Was it automatically chosen by your distribution, or did you add it?
Try replacing it with "toshiba" or "auto".
where do I change this attribute? Sorry I am a newbie so I don't know which file I need to change this... could you please give me step by step instructions?? Thanks
