no sound card??
hi everybody
i have installed redhat with sound card AVANCE AC97 onboard now it gives a message that no PNP sound cards found on your systemwhen i run soundcard detection utility
pl. help
what options do in need to give during kernel compilingalso
i have tried compiling kernel may a times
it does not go as it should altough i have followed the steps as given in the HOWTO's
sometimes modules do not load which used to load previously before colpilng the kernel
kernel version is 2.4.20-8
