Question No sound, ASUS X101CH, Realtek ALC269VB


I am not able to get the sound working on my freshly installed openSUSE Tumbleweed
It is the first time i boot linux from this netbook as it normaly runs windows 7 horribly slow
I installed Tumbleweed on an 16G SDHC card and boot from there it is not fast but ok for my needs and better then win7.

For first time the sound volume is kept muted. Try unmute it by running alsamixer on command line or some other suse mixer.

Hi veerian thank you for your reply.

I started graphica GUI for asla mixer in terminal:
# alsamixer

There I unmuted the Headphone and set it to max (100%) output.
Then the sound for the built in speaker (-s) works (yes finaly i have sound)
But somewhere in my config the Headphone & Speaker are mixed up.

Any advice where I should start looking ??
