No Screen Found on ATI driver install in SUSE
 
I'm a newbie, but I'm getting the hang of a few Linux commands - I was an old hat at DOS

-- Apparently, to install the drivers for my ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9000 Pro I have to downgrade from XFree86 4.3.0 that comes with SUSE to 4.2.1. Does anybody see an alternative to this? Otherwise, how do I go about downgrading my XF?

I am currently just getting a 'no monitors' error whenever I try to load kde or xfree86.

I've run sax2 via YaST several times, setting things up, but it doesn't seem to work. I also installed the ATI drivers through fglrxconfig several times.
