I'm having an issue getting my audio to work again after updating mageia 1 to version 2.
Before the update my audio was working fine, but now I can't seem to get it to work again.

I have an Asrock H67M-ITX board with integrated audio/hdmi.

Before the update the audio through HDMI was working with plughw:0,7.

I've tried different things by editing /etc/pulse/default.pa and restarting pulse but no luck so far.

playing a sound file with "aplay -D plughw:0,7 /usr/share/sounds/whateverfilename.wav" doesn't appear to work (also tried hw:0,3)

Tried some more things, but still no luck.

Have tried to get some audio to play over hdmi by using mplayer and vlc's direct settings and putting them to hwplug:0,7...nothing.

I'm at a loss and contemplating reinstalling if nobody has any idea of where to look or what to do.
