No keyboard when plug USB flash drive

I am having a big problem here with my flash drive. I use it at school under Fedora Core 3(my system at home) without problems.

When i plug it in my system the keyboard doesnt work anymore. When i unplug it all i typed is displayed in the command line.

I also have a usb tv tuner plugged. My lsusb gives me:
[root@localhost dev]# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2304:061d Pinnacle Systems, Inc. [hex]
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

If i try to lsusb with my flash drive it hangs.

It also says that "special device /dev/sda1 does not exist". And i really dont have it under /dev as i expected from my laptop's configuration.

Can anyone help me?
