no headphone option in alsa-mixer

I have found a few threads online that talk about how to get the headphone jack working with the 82801G sound, but I cannot figure out how to get it working on my HP DV9000. This is my first install of linux (Debian) that I have ever attempted to run. When I plug the headphones in, nothing happens. When I look in the alsa mixer there is the PCM and Master option, but no headphone. Could someone please try to help me get this figured out, or point me in a direction? Thanks.

If you hit you right cursor key(move cursor right) you should see more options in alsamixer.

Ooops. I was looking at Kmix. In the ALSA Mixer I have Master, PCM, and Capture. Hitting the right arrow key just cycles through the 3 that I have listed.Any other ideas? Are there specific modules/packages I need to make sure that I have?
