no DVD support on Fedora5 with SATA-DVD-RW drive

Hi!

I just tried to play a video DVD, but xine abborts with the following errormsg:

Code:
[bereziak@polemon ~]$ xine
This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.99.4.
(c) 2000-2004 The xine Team.
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdread: Invalid main menu IFO (VIDEO_TS.IFO).
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdread: Invalid main menu IFO (VIDEO_TS.IFO).
I tried different DVDs but the error still occurs.

Other players, such as mplayer, abort with a similar errormsg.

I updated/installed libdvdcss and libdread but it didn't solve the problem.

please help

Does the drive show up under /dev? It will be /dev/sr0 or something similar.

Hmm, it was an IRQ error, it seems.
It works now...
