hi i m new here and my first question is that linux is unable to detect nic card realtek9139d my system has dual operating system linux and windows xp so i want to know how can i fix dis problem or is this a problem reltaed wid LAN card driver
Hmmm, I'm having the same problems with a Devil Linux install. It tells me what the two NIC cards on the system are right after it says it failed to find drivers for them. I'm using the latest release of this distro too! this is only my 3rd install of any form of linux and I'm trying to set up a firewall... sigh
If I was in your position, I would take one NIC out, and see what happens. Maybe get one working at a time, and switch out. Once it see's both cards, put them in together and finish it out.
I assume you mean realtek 8139d.
This is supported by the Linux kernel -what distro/kernel are you using?
The drivers can be downloaded from here
