Angry Nforce driver installation problem

After much confuddling I got the nVidia graphics drivers installed and X running. However, I'm now trying to install the drivers for my nforce motherboard, and when running make I get the error:

/usr/include/linux/module.h:21: linux linux/modversions.h: No such file or directory

The graphics drivers also requested this file, so I installed the kernel headers and created a symlink from /usr/src/kernel-headers(etc) to /usr/src/linux. Should I do a similar thing here? If so, what, as I am an idiot.

Hmm... after running a "locate modversions.h" it returned no files, yet my NVIDIA Graphics drivers installed OK once I installed the kernel headers (modversions.h was the file they were requesting, too). Still no luck with the Nforce though.

OK... I compiled a new kernel (2.4.20) and it's no longer complaining about modversions.h

Its now saying:

cc1: Invalid option ' -falign-functions=4'

eh? whit? help!

This is just a typo, go into the Makefile and change the 'f' in -falign to an 'm'

Sorry, but I'm stuck here.
I'm facing the same probem. I get the Invalid option '-falign-functions=4' error.
I then modify as root the file /usr/src/packages/BUILD/nvidia/nvnet/Makefile, making shure I've got the right to write the file.

I then run rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0248.src.rpm, only to get the same error again.

Any clues, please?
