New Moniter

Hi,

I run fedora core 2 I have had the same moniter since install it always worked fine but now I have plugged in a new one and I get no display after boot up im guessing the resolutions and/or refresh rates are out but how do I get into mode to change them ? I press Cntrl+alt+backspace but it just flickers then goes back to no display is there a way to get back to just the terminal display so I could run some kind of configure ?

-- Thanks Tom

just change the INIT line to 3 instead of 5 in /etc/init.conf

you will of course need a working monitor to do this.

ps
i am not possitive on the file name so poke around if it is not what i said.
