network detection on Redhat 9

Hi

I have two amd athlon pc's. I installed the same wirless network card on both, orinoco gold. When I installed redhat 9 on the first it found the card and life was bright and sunny. I installed it on the second and I does not find any hardware. I t not only does not find the wireless card it doesn't find the built in ethernet card. Can I do anything to make it detect this hardware ? Any help would be appereciated.

See if you can disable plug n play in the bios.

Try lspci as root and see what it tells you. It should list all pci hardware in the machine.
