Network Card issue

Hello All,
I have installed RHEL 6.0 on HP core i5 system. After installation i came to know that my network card is not working though it is blinking but not shown on panel neither showing details on ifconfig -a command. Network card used on board is Broadcom Netlink BCM57780. Need guidance, please.
Regards,

Qaisar

Not very surprised, since RHEL6 is fairly old, and you're installing it on a new system. If you're going to use RHEL, you need to do two things:
  1. Load the latest version, which is 7.x
  2. PAY FOR IT, period. Unless you do, you get NO bugfixes/updates/security fixes, and can't install software easily, since you don't have access to ANY repositories from Red Hat
.
Otherwise, load CentOS 7.x.

Wonder if any of these may help? https://www.broadcom.com/products/et...7780#downloads

Probably not, since the furthest back they go is 6.6, and the OP stated they have 6.0.
