Netgear Wireless Card

Hey guys, I already have a Netgear 32-bit Cardbus MA521. If I understand correctly this is essentially the 32-bit version of the popular MA401 that everyone claims is one of the most uber wireless cards out there. Does anyone know more about the MA521, or anyone know what type of driver I should try to get it to work?

Any information you have would be helpful.

--and while you're at it, I have a thread in the BSD forum about getting my sound to work, can anyone help me with that?

This is my thead.

There is no Linux support for the MA512. It uses the new realtek 8180 chip and realtek provides generic drivers for linux at their site, http://www.realtek.tx but I've yet to hear of it working properly. The 401 was successful because it uses the orinoco drivers which Windows, Linux and Macintosh support very well.

Don't let me stop you from trying though...look up all the Linksys WPC11b version 4 posts here. It uses the same chip and the same drivers as your card.
