Netgear Wg511T

Is there any distro out there that can recognize a wireless netgear WG511T without additional configuration? The reasoning represents that I possess an older laptop that runs like a dog under XP and not interested playing the transfer files game between a desktop to a laptop for the files needed to run the netgear. ( P3 Mgz ????, 128 megs of ram)

I don't remember for sure but maybe Knoppix Live CD does have madwifi installed to be able to startup the wg511t. Goto Knoppix site and checkout the docs and faqs.
