I tried plugging in a PCI video card, but I think I need to configure the BIOS to recognize the PCI video instead of the onboard video.
Does anyone know of a way I can get the PCI video card working w/o buying the cable? Is there some jumper on the motherboard that I'm missing? The only part number I can find on the motherboard is 200-1024-0A.
Thanks for any help!

I have a Netfinity 3000 and I was intrigued by this because the one I have was made by IBM. Mine is not a rack-mount, so it has normal connectors.
Using Google to search for
Netfinity 4000R bios video pci has fewer than 100 hits, but one notes that you cannot change the BIOS until you get a keyboard connected -- Catch 22! --

Being that a PCI video card is not ver expensive you may want to try your soultion, but I think you will find the BIOS is set to boot the onboard video, and the only way to change this is to get to the BIOS using a keyboard hooked to the FRU by a 21P8574.

Another post notes the product number is
8652-22Y, which may useful on the IBM page.
And another suggests that the USB ports might be of temporary service, but it looks like all of the suggestions rely on getting some video out, and that means the special connector unless the BIOS is already setup.
Have you tried the serial port? You might need to use a terminal emulator like
minicom from a laptop.
Best wishes ... cheers, makyo
