needed xp laserjet 6L pro driver for mandrake


I have xp laserjet 6L pro printer. I want to install it on the linux. If anybody knows any source please let me know. And also this is the first time I will be installing new printer, can anybody suggest me what steps are to be taken to install any printer on linux.
