Need Vesa Driver for NVidia Riva TNT2

I am trying to run some old games in win2k and it does not want to work. When I run certain games it says it can't use a display mode like "640x480x16 bits" for example, then it asks me if I want to switch to different display mode. If that doesn't work it tells me I need a vesa driver. I have tried 2 or three kinds of vesa drivers and they don't work. In the process of looking for a vesa driver I think I learned that I may need a specific kind of vesa driver for my video card. So basically I need to know what is wrong and if I can fix it and if so how. If anyone can provide any help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not entirely sure if I am in the right place to find an answer to my problem but when I searched for an answer this place came up and seems like the most promising place to find the soultion to my problem. I have no idea what's wrong and I just want to play some old games, so I hope someone out there know what I should do.

Many Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Sincerly

Jason Stone
