need to make one more linux partition.

I have installed Win2K in my primary partition. I have 2MB as a common partition between Linux and Win2k. I have installed Linux as my other OS(Redhat 7.3) in rest of the secondary space. I want to have one more linux installation(Debian) without disturbing the previous installation.

As it is a laptop i cannot connect one more harddisk. I also dont want to format the hard disk again as it has many EDA tools been installed. Is it possible to make a 2nd installation by creating a new partition in the existing Installation of linux 7.3 without formatting this partition? There is enough space for installing debian in the previous installation of Redhat.

If it is possible, can anyone help me how to do it ?

I know you can install two linux's on the same partitions, but it's not recommended, and can give a lot of hassle. More info should be somewhere on the internet (like all linux-info)
