I'm in great need of a linux distro that is already capable with an HP DeskJet 870Cse without any installation of new software. It would also be nice if the distro is user friendly. I took Windows 98 off of the hard drive of my family's computer and installed linux. My mom is getting a bit mad and says, 'The printer doesn't work!' I just need to find a distro that can be easily installed, capable with an HP DeskJet 870Cse, and is user-friendly. I'm in need of desperate help. I would suggest trying Ubuntu -- it's detected every printer I've tried out of the box.
