Need help installing Nvidia driver

The installation program gives me the following error:

The kernel header file /lib/modules/2.6.0/build/include/linux/modversions.h does not exist. The most likely reason for this is that the kernel header files in /lib/modules/2.6.0/build/include have not been configured.

Help! Help!

What you have you have to do is install the kernel source. Once, you do that, you won't get that error anymore.

Are these the most recent nvidia drivers? 2.6.0 changed the interface, so nvidia had to release a new patched driver. There's lots of info on it in the nvidia linux forums on their website.

Ok I know now what's wrong... The 2.6 kernel has some kind of different interface or something so the Nvidia installer can't use its moduels to compile a new kernel interface, yet. If anyone else is having this problem, you can get a 2.6 compatible version of the Nvidia installer here:
