Need Help Installing Motarolla Wireless Adapter

I am new to linux. i just installed ubuntu os on a dell pentium 2. There is a motoralla wireless network broadcasting a cable singnal throughout my house.
Before i had linux on the dell i installed a motarolla wireless adapter to pick up the cable signal. THe adapter doesnt work with the ubuntu os. I desperatly need help getting this adapter online.

My first guess would be that Ubuntu has no driver for that wifi card.
Have you tried taking this problem to the Ubuntu forum? When you
do I suggest that you tell them which version of Ubuntu and which
model of wifi card you are using and describe the malfunction in more
detail.

I downloaded the Kubuntu os. The computer is equipped with a motorolla WPCI810G wireless card. Obviously it isnt linux compatible. How would i go about making this card work on the kubuntu os?

Any device can be compatible if there is an adequate driver for it. Google "Motorola WPCI810G Linux".
Search the Motorola site manually. Search the Dell site. Search for Linux wireless driver. Search.

You'll HAVE to use ndiswrapper and the winXP driver off the CD included with the card.
Post for help at the ubuntu forum here or the forums at ubuntu.org for help on how to use ndiswrapper in kubuntu. It's not hard, but I've zero experience with ubuntu, so I'd hate to give poor information.
