Need help installing driver for Marvell Yukon LAN adapter.

Hi peeps, im a newbie to the linux os and am having difficulties understanding how linux works actually. Ive been telling myself to learn the basics of linux and am having difficulties. I am nt sure on how to install the driver for my lan adapter. I need to connect to the internet and etc. Is there any kind soul whom wld guide me me? Thks.

I load my system with linux 9.0 but i do not know how to install my other h/w drivers. Any1 cld guide me?

We'll need to know more information, like the distro you're using and the exact model of the LAN card, but it's not a very hopeful situation. Marvell is one of the worst in a world of hardware manufacturers unfriendly to Linux.

Ok. I hv too been disappointed with marvel. I have a mobo with intel 865 chipset with an integrated intel 10/100 lan in which i install linux 9.0 and had no probs detecting. Im curious abt this marvel of unable to detect the h/w. But i am sure grateful of a reply by u(Rickh). Ive been surfing found similar post abt marvel havin probs.
