NOW! all I have to do is figure out which version I will end up with.


I have a Compaq 5500R with the following:
Dual Hot Swap Power Supplies
(3) PIII 500 at 100 MHz
Compaq 3200 Raid controller (supports raids 1,2,4,5)
(2) 4.3 GB (2) 9.1 GB Hot swap SCSI Drives
(2) Compaq NC3120 Fast Ethernet NIC's
ATI Rage IIC Video Controller
786 MB Ram
CD ROM
Floppy

Everything appears to work fine, except the Raid controller which gave Error 1783 so I just bought a new one.

1st question:
Which Smart Start software version do I need to run this server.

2nd question:
Does Red hat 9.0 have drivers to support all of these components, if not which version of Linux should I run?

Here is what I have to be able to run on this sever.
Linux of some kind which will support JSP pages.
DB software > TBD
Web Server > TBD > looks like apache is compatible
