Need help configuring Samsung ML-1610

I have a Samsung ML-1610. I've downloaded the Samsung driver file from
http://tinyurl.com/7vetm - but it wants to start a graphical installer
and this printer is attached to a box without X. I've found a guide to
not using the installer at
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_pr...amsung-CLP-500
but I'm still getting "failed to parse XML file /etc/linuxprint.cfg" in
/var/log/cups/error.log so something is not quite the same for this
printer.

Can anyone with a Samsung LPP printer on a non-X box help me out here?
What should the /etc/linuxprint.cfg file look like? Mine looks *exactly*
like the one on that link, except for the ppd=

TIA,

CC
