Need Advice on which IDE Controller to buy

Hey all, I'm putting my new server together (at home) and I need to put in a IDE controller card as the motherboard is not raid.
I have been looking but have no idea which one works the best in Linux, if someone has had a positive experience I'd be very happy to get your opinion.
I'll be running RH7.3 on it and the mobo is a Tyan S1824D dual slot 1 if that helps.
It can be ata 33/66 or whatever, it does not matter since the load will not be huge.

well i've no experience with any other, but my inexpensive CMD Promise 649 had always worked flawlessly
