My Zoom modem V.92 will not work

I have an Insperion. I removed the software from my winmodem using control panel. Zoom works great in XP(boo) as I am using it to try to get help. My RedHat 9 is telling me that the net is up, but it is not. I got error 8; my ethernet connects and I have wireless at school, but need dial up here at home. RHM told me I have eth0 alias 3c59x in modules.conf. Removed it.

Thanks!!

Do you still need help?

I assume that since this is your only post, & no one answered it, you gave up on LQ.

What a shame. I'd apoligise, but I didn't hang out here then.
