My Redhat does not boot up properly!!!

Does anybody please help me! I installed a RedHat v7.3 on my Intel Pentium 3 Dual Pro 1113MHz, 512MB Memory, 2 x 17GB SCSI & 2 lancard (on-board & PCI).

This is my Squid/Proxy server. I have successfully installed the redhat and even restart it. Just after using it in a day if I tried to reboot the computer there are a lot of problems I encounter abd also if i type ls from the console it will post a "Segmentation Fault" but if I used dir its fine.

1.) It will post an error:
"Modprobe:Modprobe: Can't locate module ppp0"

or

2.) It will Stop loading:
"INIT: Version 2.84 Booting"

or

3.) It will stop loading:
"Bringingup loopback interface"

4.) What is my problem if there is a Segmentation Fault as I type ls on the console?

Any of these are my problem and I can't do anything but to reinstall again my squid. Please help me.

Thanks
