If you can find the specs on your monitor (specifically the horizontal sync and vertical refresh ranges) I can help you set up your configuration file for x.org. I can't find this monitor anywhere on google.

OK, I think I found it. Is this x-554 the same thing? http://www.tradefind.com/etf/tradesh...o=7969&vpage=3

Ancient google secret:rolleyes:
Ok you need to edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and look under the monitor section and add these horizsync and vertrefresh entries like so: Section "Monitor" Identifier "Default Monitor" HorizSync 31-64 VertRefresh 50-120 The identifier can be whatever you want. Also check under your 'screens' section. Does it have modes with 1024x768 in the entries? Feel free to post any part (or all of it) if its giving you trouble. |
yeah
it supportedit in the darkage of windows xpand my hard drive...........disturbing times
|
uh
whats an identifyer
|
i meant on the that earlier post was that it was supported on windows xp which was on myhard drive

the word under 'section', it just means what name do you give to the monitor...it can be anything, since its really for your benefit only.
