my Christmas present to me---wi-fi

Okay ---- I've got a wi-fi card running using ndiswrapper on my old Toshiba laptop. That's great. What I really want is a wi-fi card that will work "out of the box" ---- I know this is lazy and I know I could probably solve my problems here
but I really really don't want to have to. I just want to plug and play. Now, I know there are places that I could look to find the answer to this question but here it is ::: does anyone know of a retail outlet (multi-branch and in the UK) that sells a wi-fi card that I can just plug into my laptop and be done with it?? I don't want to mess around while on holiday. I just want Internet access at Christmas.
