my asus A7V880 motherboard shut off a couple seconds after starting the computer...

I had some trouble with my harddisks, send my motherboard to the dealer who sends it back saying everything worked, but now, after connecting everything to the motherboard it shuts off a couple of seconds after putting it on...
what could be wrong? i resetted the jumper to clear the bios... (same result)

thanks for some advice

Hi devrieshh, Power supply problem? What was the original problem? Are you getting any post errors/beep codes?
Good luck. ;-)

The main problem was(is)that the motherboard most of the time the sata hard disk not recognize, that is where i send the motherboard to the dealer.
But now after getting it bag,the board shuts down automatic after +-5 seconds, without beeps(i havent build the motherboard in yet...) or messages, just after the first lines on the second screen on startup...I still have to try my new ide harddisk on it with a new cable, one of my ide connecting cables was broken but only with a sata connection it shuts down.

thanks

A few things to check, power supply, thermal paste on the cpu, and ram.
Good luck. ;-)
