multiple sessions on a dumb terminal
I have a serial terminal hooked up to my computer, it works just fine. I got it when the office upgraded to PCs. The server they had for the terminals allowed you to push "break" on the terminal and start stop or resume a 'session' you could start a job in one session, then go to another while it was working, sort of like crtl-alt-Fkeys to switch virtual terminals. This was all software controlled on the server as far as I know, I was wondering if there is a way to do this on linux - as it is I can only have one login.
Thanks in advance
