mplayer: your cpu is too slow


when i run mplayer, message comes about the slowness of cpu.
but i have pentium core2duo processor and 512MB RAM. why this message is coming.

..and the files that you are watching are on your hard disc and not on a NTFS share or something??

Is your system under heavy load when this message comes up??

mplayer : cpu too slow

no , these files are on local reiserfs partition and not much processes are running. real player plays rm videos easily
