mp3 playtr


i just got a new mp3 player. its a memorex. I figured i could just mount it like a mass storage device /dev/sda1 is what my usb drive is so i figured it would be the same. It isnt. can anyone tell me how to findout what device it is.

If it automounted the player it would probably be dev/sdb if your usb drive is mounted at the same time.

try in root:
fdisk -l to find the device locations
and
mount to find ther mount points
