I recently received a creative zen v plus as a gift, and when i connect it my pc (via usb 2.0) i doesnt even show up as a usb device. i use pclos and ubuntu, and it wont show up in either. i read in ubuntu forums about using gnomad2, but that wont work because it acts as if its connected at all.
please help
ps
if it matters, it connects fine on my xp machine
you need libmtp (http://libmtp.sourceforge.net) get version 1.0, then install amarok (http://amarok.kde.org) configure with option --with-libmtp. it works really well. i have a 2 gig creative zen v, and it works great.
