Mp3/Ogg Flash Player

I am thinking about getting an mp3/Ogg player. However, nowhere do they seem to suggest that they are compatible with linux. Even if their software does not install on linux, how easy is it to use one with linux anyway?

The two main ones that I am thinking are:

Ipod Shuffle
Iriver IFP790

With the advantage with the Iriver that it can use ogg format, though it is more expensive.
Has anyone any experience with either of these?

I havn't used either of those, but if you want a hard drive based I would recomend the Rio Karma. It can transer files over a network, so there is no need for messing with USB. It can play mp3, ogg, and flac. The only requirement to run it on linux is java. The application to transfer files over the network is a java app.

Sorry I can't comment on either of those players listed there, but I figured this info might be helpful to someone.

I am interested in flash player really, hard drive ones are a bit expensive really.
