mouse: single-click becomes double-click
I'm using Fedora Core 2 and I realized that sometimes when I single-clicked my mouse's right button it acted like a double-click, after recently I updated all the packages available thru Red Hat Network , the problem seems to be more serious, have anybody experienced the same thing & could help me out?
Thanks in advance! |
When you ask about mouse problems like this, you need to specify more context than just the distro. What we need to know here is which desktop environment you are using.
I assume you are using Gnome or KDE, rather than gdm in a console or one of the many fine lightweight window managers. You may want to edit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...65#post1816965 to reflect your answer. As for this Q, how long have you been using GNU/Linux? Do you realize that the default behavior is for a single click to act like a double click does in Winders? |
The problem has been solved after installing FC4, I guess there is some compatible problems between the old kernel and my hardware.
On my system, when using FC2 or Red Hat 9, right Alt + Tab does not responde the same way with left Alt + Tab( I'm using Gnome ), but FC4 doesn't seem to have this problem. And the "Lock Screen" function can only be used under FC4( I'm using NVIDIA FX5200). BTW, I want to know something about key binding under Linux, can you tell me? |
