Unhappy Mouse not probed on install

System: Compaq 1830 laptop w touchpad running FC6.
Problem: The Microsoft Intellimouse was not probed and has no config input section.
Could you supply a copy of the xorg.conf file for a simple 2-button PS/2 compatible mouse?
TIA
BoB

Is the mouse a synapitcs device? Have you tried running system-config-mouse? The mouse config section for my laptop is
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Synaptics"
        Driver "synaptics"
        Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
        Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
        Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
