Exclamation Mouse Logitech MX518 loss focus and don't click on the active window.

Hi,

The mouse is new 4 or 5 month maybe, and on windows work fine, on Slackware 13.37 stable and current (and included tested on kernel 3.x.x) don't work.

The problem is basically what title say. The mouse stop clicking in the active window, his focus sometime is behind the window, other the focus is some where in the screen. I need to unplug and plug in for retake the active window, if I have the point on the window what I need to use.

I have this issue for 1 or 2 month, I check log but I done find anything (dmes, message). Where I need to revise? which log? to know what happens...

I already search on google and found a few people with the same problem in windows or linux, but without solution.

some advice?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
John

Maybe try a different USB port, if it is a USB mouse.

Hi thanks for the replay TexMeX, I did but nothing. I connected the keyboard for test the port, may will be disconnect or something but nothing.

searching for google found some familiar problem with some mouses, and some people responded, that may be is energy. What do you think?

How I could check if the OS disconnect the port for lack of energy? and may be tell him not to do it. I don't think so but who knows hahaha...

Best regards,
John
