I'm using Debian Wheezy ARMHF on a Chromebook. When I attach a USB storage (or SD card) it appears in /dev and I am able to mount it from the command line.
However my USB storage devices are not able to be seen by any file manager I try. PCManFM and Thunar both give this error message in terminal when I start them:
Code:
GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: invoking IsSupported() failed for remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.Private.GduVolumeMonitor: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildSignaled: Process /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor received signal 6
I'm using the E17 desktop started with nodm. Any suggestions for getting my USB storage devices to appear in the file manager? Would make it much easier when handing my chromebook to family/friends.
