mounting hard drives

quick question ...

can u mount a hard drive into the same directory as another mounted hard drive?

You can mount it as a sub-directory, for example I have /home/bern on one partition, and /home/bern/photography is on another.

what i was wondering was i have a drive /storage which is now full of media that i now wish to keep adding files to the same directories eg /storage/movies and all the files in there show up but off 2 seperate hard drives

If you want to mount the new drive as /storage/movies you'll first have to mount it somewhere else and copy over the existing data.
